Join the Ohana Arts Festival Youth Orchestra in the inaugural Ohana Arts Fall Festival of Music opening night concert on Sunday, October 30th at 4:00 PM. Students ages 14-22 may audition live or send a link to a videotaped audition.
FAURE: Requiem in D minor, Op. 48
FAURE: Cantique de Jean Racine, Op. 11
PERFORMANCE: October 30th, 2011 4:00 PM at Chaminade University Mystical Rose Oratory.
REHEARSALS: October 24th, 26th from 5:30-7:30 PM and October 29th from 2:00-5:00 PM at Chaminade University.
ELECTRONIC AUDITION: Students must send a taped audition. Please send a link with video or audio audition to info@ohanaarts.org or mail a DVD or CD to Ohana Arts, 95-729 Makaunulau St., Mililani, HI 96789 no later than Sunday, Oct. 9th, 2011.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS: Students ages 14-22 may apply on the following instruments: violin, viola, cello, bass, and horn. Please prepare 2 contrasting works from the standard repretoire (students may play individual movements from sonatas or concertos, etudes, or standard orchestral excerpts).
