SUMMER JOBS & INTERNSHIPS
INTRODUCTION
Ohana Arts is currently accepting applications for staff positions at the 2022 Summer Festival and School at the University of Hawaii at Manoa Department of Theatre and Dance. The program provides a unique opportunity for students ages 6-18 to study with world-class faculty and guest artists from around the country in music, dance, and drama in an intensive, 6-week program.
VACANT POSITIONS
JUNIOR COUNSELORS
Ohana Arts seeks energetic junior counselors who are 16 or older who love working with children and also have a love for the performing arts. Junior Counselors assist with general supervision and provide a warm and welcoming environment for students. Duties include assisting with planning and facilitating recreational activities, providing student support, and providing additional assistance with classes and rehearsals. They are a positive influence on students and help to provide fun, safe, and structured activities.
While we are happy to accept out-of-state applicants, please note that we are unable to provide travel or lodging accommodations for this position.
Training Sessions: May and early June, TBA
Job Dates & Times: M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM plus some weekends, June 13th-July 18th; Production weekends (July 22nd-24th and July 29th-31st) hours vary depending on assigned production.
GROUP MANAGERS (Daytime Counselors)
Ohana Arts seeks highly energetic applicants at least 18 years or older who love working with children and teens and also have a love for the performing arts. Group Managers provide a warm and welcoming environment for students, plan recreational activities and supervise students throughout the day. Group Managers also work with teaching artists and artistic staff to provide additional assistance with classes and rehearsals. They are a positive influence on students that provide fun, safe, and structured activities during breaks and downtime. Group Managers should be natural leaders, excellent communicators, and comfortable speaking with parents, instructors, and large groups of students. Group Managers are the main point of contact for parents and students, and are responsible for organizing and communicating program/group-specific information to families throughout the summer.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and general program support for the Ohana Arts Summer Festival and School. The Program Assistant is also one of the first point of contacts for parents and the general public, so he/she should be friendly and welcoming, organized, informed, and have a vast awareness and understanding of the program. The Administrative Assistant is also very instrumental in facilitating box office sales and operations for the summer festival.

INTERNS
Ohana Arts seeks college interns who are interested in gaining experience doing work on one of our summer productions, including the touring production of "Peace On Your Wings". Students should specify their interest. We are currently seeking students interested in applying for the following positions:
