Music at Manoa and Ohana Arts Fall Festival of Music presents “Rendez-vous à Paris, a celebration of French art song and vocal chamber music, featuring performances by the Momenta String Quartet with pianist Djordje Nesic, assistant professor of piano Jonathan Korth, associate professor of voice and mezzo-soprano Maya Hoover, soprano Rachel Schutz, and mezzo-soprano and associate artistic director of Ohana Arts, Laurie Rubin. Works include Chausson’s Chanson “Perpetuelle” for piano quintet and mezzo-soprano, and Faure’s “La Bonne Chanson” for piano quintet and soprano, as well as songs by Bizet, Gounod, Poulenc, and others.
